St. Brigid’s are hosting their Annual Club Day on Sunday 7th May from 12 noon at the Musgrave Park pitches. This will also coincide with our official opening of out new changing rooms.

This annual event showcases all that is great about the club. It is a family event, so older/younger siblings, grand-parents, family and friends are all welcome.  There will be lots of stalls and activities on the day, including mini blitzes for the younger players and novelty matches for juvenile and senior players. Parents and coaches should also be prepared to get involved and join in the various activities!

Second hand club gear

Rather than let your second-hand gear gather dust, why not give it a new home? Based on the success of a similar scheme last year, St. Brigid’s are collecting second-hand club/GAA gear in advance for others to purchase at a small fee at the Annual Club Day. As you know, children always want to wear the right kit but this can be expensive. This opportunity to buy club/other GAA gear, at a significantly reduced price, hopefully eases the expense of purchasing new gear and should stop deterring anyone from joining the club.

So, start to empty out the garage and attic and encourage others to do so. Items of interest for donation are:

Boots, helmets, hurls, shorts, skorts, jerseys and outer-wear). We will accept all St. Brigid’s (Naomh Bríd) clothing and other GAA gear. Please ensure all gear is washed and clean.

Collection Dates: Between 12 to 1pm on April 16th, April 23rd and April 30th, nominated people will be available to collect the second-hand gear during Fun Sunday sessions at Harlequins pitch.
