Consultation on St. Brigid’s Development Plan

The proposed long-term vision for St. Brigid’s GAC development plan is to support an efficient, effective, sustainable and inclusive club which will work collaboratively with all players, members and volunteers of the club. The development plan is now open for consultation and is available to access on the club website, Facebook, Twitter and will be sent by email to all members.

This draft of the development plan is subject to alteration through consultation and input from all concerned parties. We would welcome feedback, contributions and opinions on this draft. The development plan has been put together to identify five key themes:

  1. Games
  2. Connectivity and Communications
  3. Finance and Funding
  4. Social and Cultural and
  5. Administration and Facilities.

The structure of the development and action plan focuses on where we are now, where we want to be in the future and how we plan to get there. A SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats) analysis has been used to identify key areas to move the club forward to accommodate for the growing number of players and volunteers needed to sustain such growth. The club is only as strong as its players, members and volunteers and we welcome any feedback and/or suggestions to participate in this journey of development over the next 5 to 10 years.

St. Brigid’s GAC is committed to doing our best and serving our community. While we cannot make any guarantees or outcomes, we will consider all suggestions and feedback provided. The second consultation day will take place:

6pm to 8pm on Monday November 21st @ Harlequins

Please come along with any queries you may have, feedback or further discussion as we would be delighted to discuss them with you. Attached is also a feedback form if anyone wants to complete it and forward it  at the latest Friday November 25th to: tracygalvin77@gmail.com

Kind regards,

Club Chairman
