On Saturday the U14 girls headed up to the Waterworks to participate in the Girls U14 Winter League
12 brave players ventured out into the cold along with 9 parents and 2 dogs (both of whom were related to each other which is barking mad! )
Each game lasted 10 minutes and there were four other teams: Rossa, Ballymena, Randalstown and Carryduff.
It took the team a while to warm up in the first game against Carryduff and they were narrowly defeated. For the first day out the girls performed well and lost out to Ballymena and Randalstown.
However they kept the star performance to the last game against Rossa and we took some great scores.
Everybody played in all the matches and all contributed as a team member.
The weather was harsh but the girls admirably withstood the cold and defied all requests to keep, their coats on and chatted away merrily to each other whilst the parents and dogs shivered.
All ready now for the next trip on Saturday and notification will be sent via teamer and we look forward to seeing you there.
