Minors progress into the next round of Minor A championship after beating Randalstown 3.19 – 3.08 at home tonight.

Great performances all round put us well ahead but sloppy goals from Randalstown made the scoreline look closer than it was. Peter Webb was unplayable in the first half hitting 6 points from play and the net from the spot, whilst John Blaney on the other wing caused serious problems to the Randalstown defence with some exceptional passes. Ethan Carlton and Peter Lavery also caused problems throughout. It wasn’t only the forwards who got on the score sheet with Paddy Finnegan, Malachy Armstrong and Shane Moran pointing. U16 Odhran Boyle pointed twice from play and found the net mid way through the second half as did captain Conor King who had a great game round the middle.

Well done lads. We face Creggan in the next round. NBA
