The u16s got a huge win on Tuesday night Vs Naomh Eoin at Corrigan Park in the SA semi final. The first 15 minutes saw us kick 4 wides, but after a slow start we soon found our stride kicking 2 points on the trot, boosted by the fact that the St John’s 13 hit the crossbar from the penalty spot. Once we took the lead the lads didn’t look back and powered on even without Paddy Finnegan in mid field as he got a questionable black card early on.

The second half saw us get 4 more black cards and another 3 lads saw red, leaving us with 12 men on the pitch at the final whistle.

2 second half goals from Peter Lavery & one in each half from James Smith helped push us over the line in convincing style, winning in the end by 11 points.

FT Score 4.07 – 0.08.
