Last night the u16s got their 6th win in as many games v Naomh Gall. First half goal from Damian Magee wasn’t enough as Galls got 3 of their own and we finished the first half 7 points down and with an injury to captain Joe Finnegan who was replaced by Callum Copeland.

Strong words were spoken at half time and a with few tactical changes the lads were ready for war.

After 20 minutes we had scored an unanswered 7 points from Peter Webb, Ethan Carlton, Malachy Armstrong, John Blaney, Brogan Austin and James Smith we were back in the game with a draw. An injury to Owen Winters and Joe Finnegan came back on at #14 big target man in the square and it worked as he caught a ball on the edge and stuck it in the net.

Finished 5 points up. 3.02 – 2.11.
