The under 12 Div 1 squad maintained its good start to the season with a comprehensive home win over an understrength St Johns.   Four quick fire points from the impressive Toirealach Brolly put the team in control early on and Donal Bradley added a first half hat-trick of goals.   Although St Johns battled hard in the second half, Naomh Brid continued to put up a big score from play.   Although the free-scoring forwards might grab the headlines, our defence remained tight and disciplined.  The subs Lorcan Burns, Eoin Graham, Ollie Marken and Oisin McDonnell all made a valuable contribution when introduced after the break and with a number of other players still to come into the reckoning, there is plenty of competition for places.   Tougher games lie ahead against Rossa and Gortnamona after the Easter holidays.

Final score:         Naomh Brid 6-14;  St John’s 0-2

Scorers:                Donal Bradley 4-1; Toirealach Brolly 0-6; Rory Moore 0-3; Liam Finnegan 1-0; Ronan Agnew 1-0; Conan McNicholl 0-2; Ronan Boyle 0-1; Marcus Lynch 0-1
