The pre- season senior squad training has been well supported, with record numbers turning up thanks to the input by Declan Morgan ( ex Down County Minor trainer) and Andy Moohan ( Fermanagh mentor). Preparation has involved robust training at Harlequins each Wednesday and Friday, along with challenge games against some of the top teams in County Down.

Hopes are high among the squad, despite a number of pre-season injuries, that 2014 will be a return to form year for the team. Lots of challenges, lots to look forward too, lots of good days hopefully and most importantly lots of support from the younger players in the club – turning up to support the senior team. After all that’s what it is all about in any club.
