The minors travelled to Glenavy to play their second match in the All County League and were good value for their three point half time lead due to an excellent Conor Leonard goal and some fine frees from the same player. While the half time introduction of Peter Lundy strengthened the defence further, Genavy had the real ace up their sleeve with James Gallagher coming on at the break, scoring two goals and tearing the defence apart from full forward. His sheer power was too much for the lighter defence and the goals flowed. For the visitors, O’Halloran, Short and Leonard were the pick of the bunch on the night.

FT:: Glenavy 4-8 Naomh Brid 1-8

All minor players are invited to HQ on Wednesday and Friday night to training at 6:50.
