The Senior Reserve ladies started their 2012 league campaign in fine style on Sunday.

The South Belfast Gaels, made up of a majority of u16s and u18s and a couple of ladies just beyond this age bracket, made a great start to their campaign on a Sun drenched Musgrave park.

This game which attached quite a number of spectators, mostly male for some reason, saw our girls start relatively slowly and were fortunate to get a couple of 3 pointers mid way through the first half. St Tereas’s put in a very determined first half performance leaving them trailing at the half whistle. 3:0 to 0:4

The second half belonged to the Naomh Brid ladies, as our girls got a better understanding of each other and eventually ran out comfortable winners Naomh Brid 5:4 Naomh Treasa 0:4

A special mention must go to Anna Dowling who made her debut at Senior Level yesterday.
