St Brigids were beaten 1-8 to 0-8 on Wednesday night last at Harlequins against the the team that made the drop from Div 3 last year and played in the Junior championship final of 2010. This was a game that St Brigids dominated in the first half but scorned several goal scoring opportunities from close range. The scores were level pegging at 1-2 to 0-5 but St Agnes got their noses in front in the third quarter and never looked like being caught by the Malone Road boys as chances were spurned once again.

Best in defence were Brendan Corrigan,Micky Donnelly and Ronan Mackle. Up front Ryan Brolly and Chris Donnelly were constant threats.
