This weekend proved to be a very suucessful 3 days for our lady Footballers. Firts up on Friday evening our Senior team travelled to Glenavy to play against hosts St Josephs. The Senior ranks, supplemented by 6 of this years U16s, were well incharge of this game from the throwin, and ran out very comfortable winners.

Then on Sunday evening, dispite only being able to field 13 players, our reserves saw off the challange of St Comgalls – Antrim. The reserve team comprising, mostly U16 players and some older girls who are new to our sport, put on a very impressive and determined performance to come away with both points.

Finally on Monday evening, the Senior ladies were back in action again, this time playing host to a rejuvinated St Ergnats of Moneyglass. This time the opposition provided a much sterner test, however our girls come through to make it 2 wins out of 2.

Next up is the visit of Lamh Dhearg  on Sunday evening with a 6.30 throwin set for Musgrave Park.
