The under 16 amalgamation with players from Eire Og, St. Agnes’ and St Brigids playing under the St Agnes’ banner defeated the Setanta club (O’Donnells/St Pauls/Gort na Mona ) in the ‘B’ final on Wednesday night in front of a sizeable Casement Park crowd. St Brigids supporters saw the boys in black improve as the game progressed and ended up worthy winners. Very well done to coaches Michael McGranahan, Peter Leydon and in particular Gerry Mulholland, who has been a treasure for the club since its inception. This man is an inspiration to all club volunteers. Well done to players and managers alike and good luck in the county final against Rasharkin.

Final score: St Agnes’ 3-15 Setanta 3-10
