Eamon Convery’s charges won in convincing fashion against St Paul’s who had earlier beaten them in the qualifiying league on Wednesday night last.

With Michael Malone in midfield and the ever improving Daniel Nolan at full back
augmented by Ben Sinott, Ciaran Mackle and Chris Mooney, the boys in blue hit a rich vein of form to beat the Shaws Road men in their second South Antrim Div 2 league win out of two. The scoreline of 4-9 to 0-8 show the reversal from early on in the season. Excellent conditioning work from John Cahill was clearly evident from this encouraging display.

The performance of Ben and Matthew Kelly were highlights of the game, coach
Convery was able to give a strong bench a run out in the second half once two early goals were scored.

With a little bit of hard work and preparation this team could challenge for league honnours.

There will be a challenge game on Sunday for the minor panel further details later in the week
