The Seniors registered their highest score of the season against a spirited Glenravel outfit at Con Magee’s superb facilities. Goals from Ruari O’Neill and Jimmy King gave the score line a rather flattering look at the break as the opening 30 minutes were far from one sided. James Loughrey proved to be the platform for St Brigids, ably supported by his midfield partner, Conor Mullan, who notched a couple of first half points.

Half Time: Glenravel 0 – 4
St Brigids 2 – 6

The first ten minutes of the second half saw Frankie Devlin add 3 points, 2 from frees, before the visitors decided to take a 10 minute nap during which Glenravel managed a couple of fine long distance points. In truth they had to be from distance, with Malachy O’Kane, Paul Finnegan, Joe McKeever, Frank O’Neill and Kevin McQuillan all shackling their men effectively. Having had a break, St Brigids, inspired by a fine point from McKeever, opened up in the last ten minutes with a string of scores. Goals from King, Paul McCrudden and a Conor Taylor cracker in the last five minutes put a flattering look on the final score as the home side’s challenge wilted.
