8th May – St Brigids 2 – 5
St Endas 2 – 11

A strong St Endas Team narrowly beat the St Brigids U10’s, even though many of their key players were not able to play. Playing against a strong wind in the first half John Keenan and Luke McKeever played very well to keep the St Endas score line down to 2:6 to 1:2, the St Brigids goal coming from Kevin McGovern.

In the second half, the St Bridids team bravely fought and kept eating into the St Endas lead. Feargal Leyden, Philip O’Sullivan & Conor Hughes played very well and with Conor Leonard coming out of goals, where he played a brilliant first half, it looked as if St Brigids might catch the other team, but unfortunately, despite their efforts, St Endas won by 6 points. Well-done U10’s and see you next Sunday at 12.00 noon at Blaydon Drive.

We will try to play as many Matches as possible over the next few weeks and we will be needing your Parents to possibly drive us to different places. One of the most important Matches coming up will be the U10’s v The Mothers at the Fun Day – tell them all to start training!
