The Seniors travelled to Moneymore for a challenge and received a bit of a lesson in moving the ball at pace and taking scoring chances. The home side notched up eight first half points from play with a Jimmy King effort being the sole response. In truth half the scores came from possession being given away but it would be unfair to single anyone out for blame, (Paul and Eunan!).

Half Time: Moneymore 0 – 8
St Brigids 0 – 1

The second half was a tighter affair with Richard Smyth beginning to influence midfield along with Chris Rogers and Kevin Finnegan and Paul McCrudden showing as target men up front. Stephen Morrissey kept the game competitive with a few good saves and Kevin McQuillan managed to shackle the Derry senior (who had proved a bit hot for Ricky).
King scored twice from play with Frankie Devlin and Smyth from all of 40 yards registering before the home side finally found the net.

Full Time: Moneymore 1 – 15
