3 in a row for Division 3 team

A scoring spree of six points in as many minutes at the end of the first half effectively sealed this game against Eire Og at Woodlands on Sunday 3rd April 2005.
Prior to that, and despite scant possession, Eire Og had remained in touch due to a goal and a point midway through the half. However, once Paddy McDonald latched on to a good move and found the net (if there had been a net), to restore St Brigids lead at 1-3 to 1-1, the scores flowed freely.

Half Time: St Brigids 1 – 9
Eire Og 1 – 1

Despite wind advantage in the second period, Eire Og could not mount an effective comeback with early points from Frankie Devlin, Conor Mullan and James Loughrey effectively killing off the contest. A misunderstanding in the St Brigids square (John Mackle blamed Richard Smyth, Richard had no comment) gifted Eire Og a late goal but it was merely a consolation.
