On Sunday 13th February the seniors met St Agnes for a challenge game and fought out a well-earned draw. Playing into a gale in the first half, the visitors held the Division 2 side to just three points with a solitary reply from Frankie Devlin. In truth, it could have been much worse but for some wayward shooting from St Agnes.

Half time: St Agnes 0 – 3 St Brigids 0 – 1

Scores were as much at a premium in the second half and a scrappy goal seemed to have given the home side victory. However, a speculative lob from Paddy McDonald ended up in the back of the net to bring St Brigids to within a point, earlier points from Jimmy King (2) and Aidan Owens, having brought them back in touch. It was left to Devlin to curl over the equalizer just before the ref blew for a diplomatic draw.

Full Time: St Agnes 1 – 5 St Brigids 1 – 5
